Pyrmont Point Hotel was known as the “Lands End Hotel” from 1850 to 1885 and renamed by Roderick McDonell to “Royal Pacific Hotel” in 1886. In 1913 the third floor was added and the building was architecurally recast to a more fashionable Edwardian character and “Royal Pacific” was written on the parapet. Renovated again in 1996 and renamed “Pyrmont Point Hotel”

Family owned since 2010 the current owners have undertaking a signifacant renovation including the removal of the external concrete render to expose the original stand stone that can be seen in the picture opposite above the tile line. The awning has been meticulously rebuilt to the original design.

The original sandstone has been exposed in the front bar to create a warm atmosphere with 16 beer taps and a cocktail lounge on the side.

An outdoor balcony has been added to the second floor providing four function spaces and a cocktail bar with 16 beer taps

There is the sun filled John Street Square out the back where you can relax with your pooch over a long lunch or early dinner and watch the kids play
